So what can you do with an old, very old, pair of high-waisted black trousers that are in good condition
and getting rid of them it’s not an option? You recycle them!!
Being inspired by the show that Dolce and Gabbana did in Milano on 26th of January, I took my old pants and decided to give them a new face, with a simple golden stripe that I bought on a local market. I spent half a day to hand sew it but it was totally worth it. I am so sorry that I forgot to take pictures so you can see the before and after but you can just imagine them without the golden stripe.
I love to wear them with total black looks, but this time I decided to mix it with a white lace ruffled blouse. We are in February, that means Valentine’s Day it’s close and I went for a romantic look. I chose to put my hair in a simple low bun, a cherry lipstick and a bit of mascara. High heels it’s a must for this look so my old classic pumps from Zara were just perfect. Being creative it’s a fun thing that sometimes can bring you some great ideas like the black neck bow. I love how completes the entire look.
Hope you guys like the idea and I inspired you a bit. If you are curious about how I’ve transformed an old velvet blazer take a look at How I made it ( part 1 ). And stay tuned because it will be a part 3 also. It’s about a skirt. 😉
